Annual Report 2017 We like to think of ourselves as an agency that ignites potential. That is the potential that we see in the individuals and families that participate in our programs. As a dual-language nonprofit that serves people of all ethnic backgrounds, we have a unique opportunity and ability to work cross culturally. Our bilingual and bicultural staff has extensive experience and knowledge on the best practices that will produce the greatest results.
What are the results? Our educational programs prepare children for school; provide academic, health, social support to youth (and families); work with parents to strengthen the family unit; and ensure that individuals with developmental disabilities have a high quality of life.
The results include:
¨ A parent engagement rate of 95 percent at our Early Childhood Center
¨ Improved attendance and academic performance among youth in the Rochester City School District
¨ Greater stability among families that are able to secure stable employment and buy a home
¨ Greater independence for individuals with developmental disabilities.
